- New setting in Appearance & behavior > Desktop appearance: Show tags in tooltips: displays the tags of a note as colored pills in the hover tooltip. Default disabled.
- If you do not want to see custom group headers in a specific view like tags or properties, you can now pick the new sort option

Improved
- Rebuilt the hover tooltips with the same look and feel as the built-in Obsidian tooltips but with less flickering and support for tag pills and text hierarchy.
- Added a notice under File display > Word and character count that lists the file appearances and group headers that keep word or character counting active, which can have a negative impact on performance.
Changed
- Changed Show word count in tooltips to show word counts only when word counts are enabled, so the tooltip setting no longer keeps word counting enabled just for the tooltip.
Fixed
- When dragging multiple selected files to a folder, all files are now moved instead of only the first (issue was introduced in 3.2.1) #1466.
- Word counting for files now stays disabled for custom sort orders unless a list contains a custom group header that shows a word count.
