- Completely revamped the TAG FAVORITE system! You can now right-click any tag to add/remove it from favorites. When adding a parent tag (e.g., "photo"), the system intelligently removes redundant child tags (e.g., "photo/camera") from favorites automatically.
- Added Alt / Option + Click on folder or tag chevrons to expand/collapse all descendants recursively. Super efficient for managing large tag trees or folder structures.
- Added a "Folder note properties" setting – automatically adds custom frontmatter properties to newly created folder notes.
Improved
- Tags in the list pane now use smart sorting:
(1) Favorite tags show first
(2) Colored tags next
(3) Uncolored normal tags last
This makes it easy to find notes with the right tags quickly, especially if you use many tags in your notes. - Tags now inherit their parent colors. If a parent tag has a color, all child tags use that color unless they have their own.
- Many performance optimizations under the hood. Rendering is faster, startup is quicker, and overall usage is smoother.
- The underlying architecture has now been locked as we start looking into features such as Style Settings and API support.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue with auto-reveal file where it sometimes wouldn’t scroll to the selected folder in the navigation pane.
