rEFInd_GUI 3.5.4
Added
- Xbox 360 controller driver on ARM64. Both Linux installers (
refind_install_Sourceforge.sh,refind_install_package_mgr.sh) now install the gamepad UEFI driver on aarch64 machines too, from UsbXbox360Dxe v1.8.1's new per-architecture builds:UsbXbox360Dxe.efion x86-64 andUsbXbox360Dxe_aa64.efion ARM64, placed on the ESP asEFI/refind/drivers_<arch>/UsbXbox360Dxe.efi. In 3.5.3 ARM64 installs only received the touchscreen driver; now an ASUS ProArt P16 (NVIDIA N1X) gets a working Xbox-compatible gamepad in the rEFInd menu as well. Other EFI architectures are skipped with a message, and a failed download still warns and continues as before. The Windows installer is unchanged (x86-64 only).
Fixed
- aarch64 Arch package CI. The
build-aarch64job inarch-release.ymlnow disables pacman 7's Landlock download sandbox (the Actions container runtime refuses it) and forcesPKGEXT=.pkg.tar.zst(Arch Linux ARM'smakepkg.confstill defaults to.pkg.tar.xz, which left the upload glob empty). The 3.5.3 aarch64 package was produced by re-running the workflow with these fixes; from this release they are part of the tagged tree.
Notes for ARM64
- The ARM64 build of UsbXbox360Dxe is the same USB-only code as the x86-64 build, cross-compiled; no device or input behaviour changed.
- A real-hardware boot of
refind_aa64.efiwith these drivers on an N1X laptop is still pending, as in 3.5.3. Please report what you see.
