Added
- Custom login backgrounds. Administrators can choose default backdrops, upload a static image, or replace the rotation with up to 50 direct image URLs under Settings → General → Login background. Includes previews, a 5–300 second rotation interval, image replacement and removal, and fallback when custom images cannot load.
- Separate playback-status protection. New Defer When Playback Status Is Unavailable toggle beneath Protect Active Playback in Settings → General. Turn it off to allow deletions and moves when live-session status cannot be verified, while still protecting known playing or paused media. Both toggles default to on, preserving existing behavior.
- Login method controls. Administrators can allow or disable Local, Media, and SSO under Settings → Authentication, with Restore defaults and validation that keeps at least one configured method enabled. Disabled methods reject new sign-ins through the API, and the last allowed provider cannot be disabled or removed. Set
AUTH_FORCE_LOCAL_LOGIN=trueoutside the app and restart to recover local password access; a notice reminds admins to remove the override after fixing settings. - Custom SSO login labels. Optional SSO tab text and SSO button text under Settings → Authentication, with a live preview. Leave either field blank to keep the default “SSO” or “Sign In with SSO” text.
- Leaving Soon collections on every Emby user’s Home screen. New Home screen for all users option under Settings → General → Leaving Soon Collections → Visible on (Emby), off by default. Requires Emby Server 4.10 or newer. Movie and series rows update on each candidate sync, respect each user’s media access, and preserve their position and display preferences. Rows are removed before their collections become empty or are deleted, preventing a fallback to all movies, and return when candidates return. Turning the option off removes Reclaimerr’s rows on the next sync without changing other Home sections.
- Sonarr v5 beta episode-order safeguards. Reclaimerr continues using
/api/v3for Sonarr v3, v4, and v5 beta. Matching aired/official, DVD, and absolute orders are supported. Cleanup that relies on episode numbering is blocked when Sonarr and the media server use different orders, or the order cannot be verified. Checks honor the rule's selected Sonarr instances and Plex library defaults. Unsupported streaming-order identifiers remain blocked.
Changed
- Updated FastAPI.
Fixed
- Plex partial scans after deletion now find the correct library using its configured locations, so removed media can disappear from Plex without waiting for a scheduled scan. Path matching also distinguishes sibling folders such as
/data/tvand/data/tv2(#431). - Incompatible Sonarr episode inventories, import dates, and linked-server watch data are no longer merged by season/episode number. Sync clears stale Sonarr inventory and import dates when ordering is incompatible, while retaining series references and tags.
- Sonarr season-monitoring updates no longer mutate the fetched series data while preparing requests, preserving episode ordering, language, and unrelated settings.
