This release is breaking
- Move/Auto delete configuration is now per rule so please review your setup after this update
Added
- Rule editor now has an explicit "Automatic Deletion" switch, with delay settings only shown when enabled
- Added the ability to move episodes as this feature was previously blocked to Movie/Season/Series only
Changed
- Verbiage for movie action in general settings
- Auto delete is now controlled per rule instead of globally:
- Delete Cleanup Candidates task can now run normally, but it only deletes candidates produced by rules that opted into auto-delete
- Candidates whose matched rule does not enable auto-delete now show Not enabled for matched rule(s) instead of implying a pending delete date
- Default review periods remain global defaults, but they are just defaults for rules that opt into auto-delete
- Updated docs with these changes
- Move is now controlled per rule instead of globally:
- If this was previously enabled ALL of your rules will be migrated with this set to enabled automatically but all new rules will utilize the default of disabled
- Manual Delete also honors rule-level move behavior
- Candidate API now exposes delete_operation: "delete" | "move" so the UI can explain what Delete will do
- Updated docs with these changes
Fixed
- Moving files instead of delete would sometimes result in the folder structure not being retained
- Move helpers now preserve folder structure under the matched path mapping root in
- Movie moves no longer flatten into the destination root
- If no path mapping matches, file moves preserve the immediate media folder instead of dropping the file directly into the destination
- Existing destination files/directories are no longer overwritten; the move fails safely
- Added unit testing for movie structure preservation, fallback behavior, collision safety, directory moves, and flat season moves
Removed
- Global auto delete setting has been removed from General settings
