Added
- Support for the split DEE encoders (
dee_ddp_encoder,dee_ddpjoc_encoder,dee_ac4ims_encoder) shipped with newer DEE releases and Dolby Media Encoder, alongside the singledeeexecutable.- Point
--dee(or[dependencies] dee) at the folder of encoders, or place them inapps/dee/or onPATH. An installed Dolby Media Encoder is found automatically on Windows. - Not available with the split encoders, and refused with a clear message:
--custom-dialnorm, DD+ 7.1 (including Blu-ray DD+), Blu-ray Atmos, AC-4--ims-legacy-presentationand--encoding-profile ims_music. Metering is always 1770-4.
- Point
Fixed
- DEE output containing bytes that are not valid text (the split encoders print some in their license line) aborted the job with a
UnicodeDecodeErroron Windows. Output is now decoded leniently.
Changed
- How an encode is handed to DEE now lives in a backend (
deezy/audio_encoders/dee/backends/), so the encoders no longer build DEE job files themselves. Output for the singledeeis unchanged. - Updated some dependencies.
- Faster startup:
guessit, pymediainfo, tomlkitand therichprogress/spinner modules are now imported only when needed, cutting import time for commands like--helpfrom roughly 355ms to 120ms.
