Fire 2.0.0 expands the multiband reactor with editable effect chains, new analogue and spatial colours, a full sound library, and four visual skins.
Highlights
- Shared DSP modules in Band Lab and Master Lab, with removable and reorderable chains, independent EQ points, granular processing and Chord Resonator.
- Twelve analogue distortion colours covering tube, guitar-drive, diode, transistor, transformer and tape styles, with dynamic supply sag and stateful magnetic models.
- Classic, Room, Hall, Plate, Spring and Chamber reverb models.
- Sixteen LFOs, an input envelope follower and four assignable macros.
- 236 factory scenes across eleven collections, including 36 dedicated Analog Drive scenes.
- A full-page sound browser with search, favourites and recoverable preset removal.
- Undo/redo, frozen granular recordings saved with presets and projects, and improved HQ modulation and dry-path alignment.
- Modern, Vintage, Paper and Ink skins. Paper and Ink use fine line controls, readable frequency indicators, lightweight minus buttons, circular status lamps and responsive tube/tape schematics inspired by the Blue Wings portfolio.
- Smoother cached spectrum rendering, lower startup memory use and optimized nonlinear processing.
Downloads
- macOS: Audio Unit, VST3 and CLAP, universal Apple Silicon/Intel builds.
- Windows: VST3 and CLAP.
- Linux: VST3 and CLAP.
Extract the archive and copy the desired formats into your plug-in folders, then restart or rescan your host.
The macOS bundles are ad-hoc signed and are not Apple-notarized. Follow the macOS installation guide if Gatekeeper prevents scanning.
Fire reports a fixed 83-sample processing latency across HQ changes and independently inserted Shape modules. Appearance changes preserve the sound and remain separate from preset and undo state.
