What's Changed

• Add streaming support by @jekalmin in #379

Breaking Changes

• Function Call is removed
• The meaning of the Use Tools option has changed.
  • Previously, setting it to off meant that functions would be used instead of tools, but now it means that tools will not be used at all. (similar to Assist option in OpenAI Conversation)
• attach_username option is removed

Questions

I'm aware that many people are using this integration for local or 3rd party OpenAI compatible APIs.
So I have questions below.

1. Do OpenAI compatible APIs support Response APIs?
2. Do OpenAI compatible APIs support Streaming?
3. Does anyone still use functions (not tools)?

I'm planning to make breaking changes for above.
How far this integration should support depends on them.
