What's new
- Intel Macs are supported. There are now two Mac downloads, one for Apple Silicon (M1 and later) and one for Intel Macs.
- New Flatpak for Linux, with DOSBox Staging included, for regular PCs and ARM devices.
- Game details are built in. Information on over 4,000 DOS games now ships with TurboStage, so game details appear instantly, even offline. Cover art and screenshots still download when needed.
- Faster, smarter game search. When you add a game, the title search is instant and copes with typos and different spellings ("wing commander 3" finds Wing Commander III).
- New About window with the version and credits (in the Help menu, or the TurboStage menu on Mac).
Fixes
- Some older CD-ROM images could not be scanned (for example Power Drive). They are now recognized.
- Some games did not start when their archive contained several copies of the start file (for example Power Drive).
- The MT-32 / Sound Canvas choice in a game's Setup tab is now always applied.
- New File > Show DOSBox log, to see what happened when a game doesn't start or has no sound.
Upgrading
Run File > Scan local games once after updating. It repairs games affected by the start-file problem above.
