Agent Sessions 5.6

What's New in 5.6

Highlights:

  • Session Info for every agent. Open Session Info for any of the 17 registered agent sources. Provider, current model or configuration, and title metadata appear immediately when recorded, while unsupported values stay explicitly unavailable.
  • Detailed Session Info reaches more providers. Audited model, configuration, and usage records now surface across the sources that record them, without pretending that every agent exposes pricing, quota, or model history.

Features:

  • More provider-specific detail. Antigravity and Kimi expose audited token records; Grok records model and reasoning-effort changes while stating its token-data limit; fx exposes its audited aggregate input/output totals and current model/effort.
  • Cline Session Info. Assistant model history and per-message input, cache-read, cache-write, and output components are available, while provider-specific pricing and quota remain unavailable.
  • Droid and DeepSeek Harness Session Info. Droid exposes configuration and preserves Factory's aggregate token evidence without assigning it to a model; DeepSeek Harness v4 exposes model history and disjoint assistant-message token components without double-counting stream records.
  • Cursor, Qwen Code, and Devin Session Info. Cursor exposes its loaded current model; Qwen reports active-branch usage and model history; Devin reports its current model. Each source states the limits of its underlying records.

Improvements:

  • Clearer Session list states. Indexing, transient refresh, indexing failure, active filters, and a genuinely empty library now have distinct explanations.
  • Bounded provider refresh. Unified refreshes use a cancellation-aware two-source budget and keep the Session list visibly indexing while queued providers wait.
  • Responsive detailed telemetry. Detailed Session Info stops after five seconds with a cancellable, retryable timeout while provider-neutral quick info remains available.
  • Safer metadata display. Session Info and session rows reject prompt/XML leakage and timestamp-only Cursor titles while retaining raw provider values for diagnostics.
  • Headless CLI presence. Codex and OpenCode CLI sessions remain discoverable without a controlling terminal, while app-bundle processes and Codex Desktop keep their separate discovery paths.

Bug Fixes:

  • Crash diagnostics recover cleanly. Choosing Later no longer re-prompts for the same report, XCTest-injected test-host reports are ignored, and failed telemetry file reads no longer access a closed descriptor during freshness checks.
