What's New in 5.5.1
Features:
- Continue existing Codex Desktop conversations. Find local desktop sessions in history and open an eligible conversation in Codex Desktop from the row or toolbar. Work, desktop, CLI, and VS Code badges remain distinct; side chats keep their relationship labels. The action needs a valid local thread ID and the same Codex session store.
- Search supported Cursor ACP conversations. Agent Sessions reads their local SQLite/protobuf history and preserves it through reload and local archives. This surface supports browsing and search; Cursor CLI resume remains unavailable.
Improvements:
- Weekly Quota Meter rates use more of your local history. Calibration includes native archived Codex sessions and refines estimates as quota movement is observed. Active sessions show plain
%/hrates; local estimates explain their limits and do not claim a run-out time. - The dollar lens keeps the same unit in its header and rows. When the five-hour limit is absent, the header totals priced active sessions in dollars per hour. It hides the total if an active session cannot be priced.
- API-equivalent estimates cover current models. Quota Meter includes published GPT-6 Sol and Luna rates and Claude Opus 5.5 pricing, including supported cache, speed, and inference-region variants.
Bug Fixes:
- Transcript jump arrows work in Rich mode. Scrolling updates the up and down controls, and the down arrow reaches the latest row before it disappears.
- Codex Desktop working indicators follow the active task. Finished or unknown-state threads no longer inherit a working marker from a retained desktop file handle; CLI status is unchanged.
