What's Changed
- Linux host support in the documented setup flow.
- Cross-platform SMB verification based on smbclient/discovery instead of macOS-only mounting tools.
- SSH option normalization for older OpenSSH builds that require PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes instead of PubkeyAcceptedAlgorithms.
- SSH local-forward support so doctor can run authenticated SMB checks through SSH jump-host/proxy setups.
doctornow performs full SMB CRUD validation and reports each step separately:- bootstrap now detects the host platform and gives different guidance for macOS vs Linux.
- NetBSD4 rc.local exit-status bug where the watchdog-launch branch could cause startup to exit with status 1.
- Samba config now sets reset on zero vc = yes in both the shipped template and the fallback generated config, to reduce lingering SMB session state and improve repeated-connection stability on constrained NetBSD4 devices.
