- Added SSH dynamic proxy support with --protocol ssh and redsocks. Vopono can now transparently route IPv4 TCP and DNS traffic through an OpenSSH SOCKS5 proxy, with killswitch protection and support for SSH config aliases, keys, and agents. Issue #364
- Improved compatibility with custom WireGuard and AmneziaWG configurations, including split-tunnel AllowedIPs, independent IPv4/IPv6 routing, hostname endpoints, endpoint bypass routes, and safe handling of wg-quick-specific options.
- Fixed namespace DNS isolation when the host uses Tailscale or systemd-resolved, preventing host resolver updates from
replacing the VPN-specific DNS configuration. Added documentation for accessing Tailscale services through the host. - Improved daemon mode by resolving relative custom-config paths before forwarding commands and returning daemon execution errors correctly.
- Improved vopono-gui handling of custom VPN configurations: missing files are now clearly marked, stale launch configurations can be deleted, and the selected protocol is passed explicitly when launching.
- Improved PIA credential validation and configuration handling, with clearer guidance when an email address is supplied instead of the PIA VPN username.
- Improved Debian and RPM packaging by installing the systemd service, reloading systemd after installation, and displaying daemon enablement instructions.
- Updated dependencies and addressed assorted compatibility and maintenance issues. PR #367
