Windows Desktop Preview hotfix
- Restores Reports and PDF generation in the packaged Windows Desktop Preview.
- Keeps the Python standard-library runtime required by the Reports module in the Windows bundle.
- Extends the packaged application smoke test to verify startup from a path with spaces and non-ASCII characters, loopback-only binding, Reports route registration, and real PDF output.
Users of the Windows asset from v2026-07-28.1 should replace it with the v2026-07-28.2 asset.
Code signing status
DOCSight now publishes its Windows code signing policy and release approval boundaries. Provider onboarding is still pending, so this release remains unsigned. Download both the ZIP and its .sha256 file and verify the checksum before use.
