Porsche login no longer says "wrong password" when that isn't the problem. After the password
step, Porsche's identity provider sometimes renders a captcha/consent wall instead of signing you
in. The setup dialog was labelling that as "Email address or password incorrect" even with
correct credentials — it now tells the two apart and shows an honest, actionable message about the
wall it actually hit, so you're not chasing a password that was fine all along (#1337).

Newer VW cars (MBB_ODP): a read-only diagnostic that looks for the modern command gate. On
some newer VW cars the classic Car-Net command service is switched off at the backend — you may
see MBB commands unavailable while reads keep working. VW's own app reads its command permissions
from a newer endpoint on a different host instead. For members of the opt-in test cohort, the
integration now quietly checks whether that newer endpoint answers on affected cars and records
only the result (an HTTP status, no VIN/token/data) in the diagnostics file. Nothing is sent to
the car and nothing changes — it's purely how we find out whether commands can be brought back for
these cars (#584). Off unless you join the test cohort.
