[4.7.0] - 2026-09-07 — Full release / Voll-Release

The stable release that gathers the whole 4.7.0 beta line (b1–b17): integration-wide debug-log
redaction hardening, EU Data Act resilience (automatic terms-and-conditions accept, escalating
portal backoff, older-dataset fallback), per-brand portal logins, a "data is stale" sensor, the
Škoda manual-official-key repair, and the opt-in monthly utility_meter helpers. Two more fixes
land on top of the betas:

Fixed

  • The "12V Battery Power Level" no longer mirrors the main battery on electric Škodas. On a BEV
(e.g. Enyaq) that sensor was showing the high-voltage traction battery's charge, because the
car reports the drive-battery SoC in the same field a combustion car uses for a low-voltage
reading. It's now hidden on electric cars, where it was only ever a duplicate of the main
battery. Combustion Škodas are unaffected. Thanks @Seccados (#1359).
  • Battery % no longer bounces or lags when a car combines the vw.de channel with the EU Data Act
    portal.
A guard written for portal-only cars was overriding the live vw.de reading and pinning
the percentage to the portal's ~15-minute cadence (it would step back to the previous value each
time the portal poll arrived without its high-voltage pair). The live reading now stands. Thanks
    @Ra72xx for the side-by-side captures (#1231).

Changed

  • The "add a read channel" options (Volkswagen.de / EU Data Act portal / Tibber) now read
"Add/refresh…" instead of "Add a…", so it's clearer they're one-shot actions you can re-run, not
    on/off state toggles (#950).
  • Audi & Porsche app login: both have now hit the manufacturer's attestation wall — for now,
    read-only Portal only.
VW and Porsche have both moved these brands' app sign-in to a new login
(Auth0) with on-device app verification. This was already visible in the app a few weeks ago as a
staged migration; it has now landed and taken the login down with it. The passwordless / browser
login can no longer complete: the final token step is attestation-gated and can't be done
headlessly — confirmed on real accounts, where even a fully completed interactive browser login
can't pass it. Until we find a way through, Audi is available read-only via the EU Data Act
    Portal
and Porsche stays blocked; the setup wizard now says so plainly instead of showing a raw
    failure (#1364, #1337).

Docs

  • The README now covers the opt-in monthly meters, and documents what to do on a brand-new or UK
MIB4 car whose EU Data Act data request has to be created by hand on the portal when the
automatic kickoff can't register one (#1227). Refreshed in all 12 languages.
