"No vehicle data" hint when the portal is empty. When the VW EU Data Act portal logs in but returns no data, the integration now raises a clear Home Assistant repair notice instead of staying silent. It explains the likely causes — most often the VW-side portal outage that's been running since late May 2026 (which hits every tool, not just us), or a data request that isn't set up yet — and tells you the quickest check: open the VW data portal in a browser and see whether you can see your car's data there. If it's empty there too, it's on VW's side. The notice clears by itself once data starts flowing. Fully translated across all eight bundled languages (EN, DE, NL, SV, FR, ES, PL, CS).

Quick follow-up to the v2.12.0 VW EU portal beta, from the first round of live testing.

VW EU portal broke after a Home Assistant restart (#393). The portal saves a cookie-session placeholder token, and on restart the integration reused it and skipped the login — so the portal session was never rebuilt and the next call hit the old (dead) endpoint with a useless token, ending in "No vehicles found". Now a fresh portal login runs on every restart, so the session is always re-established.
"No data request" no longer spams errors (#393, #424). Until you manually create a continuous data request for your car in the VW data portal, the data endpoint returns 404/500 — that's expected, not a failure. The integration now treats it as "no data yet" (the car still appears, data fills in once the request goes live) instead of logging an error every poll.
Scout noise on Audi charging timers/profiles (#423). Registered the deeper chargingTimers / chargingProfiles sub-paths and the DC auto-unlock setting the Scout kept flagging.
