Experimental. Not a release, and not an upgrade.
This is v1.0.31 with one line changed: it asks the TV for a 3840×2160 surface instead of 1920×1080, and prints what it actually got. It exists to answer one question on hardware nobody on this project owns — see #28.
What to do: install nuvio-1.0.31-EXPERIMENTAL-4k.ipk, open the app, open the log, and find these two lines near the top:
[4k] build de medicao: pedindo 3840x2160
janela=1920x1080 drawable=1920x1080
The second line is the answer. If drawable says 3840x2160, the newer compositor grants it and a 4K option is worth building. If it says 1920x1080, the request was ignored — same as on a 2019 C9, measured here on that exact set with this exact build.
If it does come back 4K, the interface is already being drawn at 4K in this build, so it is also worth saying whether it still feels smooth. Reinstall v1.0.31 afterwards either way.
