Two fixes, and both were about a feature that already worked being impossible
to reach.
Marking episodes watched was locked behind the player
"Mark this one / up to here / the whole season" has existed since 1.0.25, and
it was reported as simply not working. It wasn't the gesture: the menu only
lived inside the full episode sheet, and that sheet opens from exactly one
place in the code — from inside the player. So the only way to reach the
feature was to already be watching something. Anyone on a title's detail page
— which is where you'd naturally look — held an episode card and got the
sources list instead.
On the detail page now:
- hold an episode card → the watched menu
- tap it → sources, exactly as before
- the Play button is unchanged — holding it still opens sources
- the menu gained "Sources for this episode", because the long press took
over the door that used to open them
The menu also stopped depending on the episode sheet's internal state, so both
places now show the same menu rather than two copies of the same rule.
Fixed along the way: "whole season" used the season of the selected tab
instead of the season of the episode you were pointing at. Inside the sheet
those are the same thing; outside it there are no tabs.
Player zoom on Tizen: measured
The fix for this was already in the code — Samsung's player has no source-crop
rectangle, so the crop is emulated by inflating the destination and pushing its
origin negative — but it had never actually been run. It now is, against a
stand-in for Samsung's player:
1.15x expected -144,-81 2208x1242 measured -143,-80 2208x1242
1.34x expected -326,-184 2573x1447 measured -325,-183 2573x1447
1.55x expected -528,-297 2976x1674 measured -527,-296 2977x1673
Within a pixel, and with the negative origin the crop depends on — clamping
that origin to zero was what used to undo the zoom and make every mode draw the
same rectangle.
What this still does not prove, and cannot prove without a Samsung TV: whether
the TV's firmware honours a rectangle that extends past the screen or clamps it
itself. The difference is that if it now fails, the cause is on that side, and
the log shows the exact rectangle requested.
