Native C/SDL2/GLES2 app for LG webOS 4.x. Built and measured on a 2019 OLED65C9
(webOS 4.10): 60.0 fps, 0 janks on the home screen.
The package carries no credentials. tools/testa-ipk.sh verifies this by
extracting the ar archive, and the build aborts and deletes the package if any
credential file appears. You sign in on the TV with your own account by scanning
a QR code; addons, layout settings, TMDB key and watch progress then come from
that account.
Not tested on a TV without root. It should install through Developer Mode or
the Homebrew Channel, but the app needs LS2 access to com.webos.media, and
whether a non-rooted install grants that has not been measured. If it does not,
expect the UI to run and video to be a black screen. See INSTALAR.md. Reports
from non-rooted TVs are welcome.
175 MB, most of it prebaked artwork that still needs stripping.
Trakt is linked from the TV itself (Settings → Account → Trakt) — the account
does not store a Trakt credential.
