IOST v4.10.0 is a mandatory, backward-incompatible upgrade.
Changes in this release:
- Upgrade to Go 1.27.3 and update build, CI and image configurations.
- Improve error handling for insufficient Gas budgets to prevent unexpected node exits.
- Strengthen validation for contract deployment and updates to prevent unexpected node exits.
- Unify contract call error handling and roll back the entire transaction when a subcall fails.
- Adjust VM module loading and improve runtime isolation.
- Strengthen storage API parameter validation.
- Emit events only after successful transaction commit.
- Temporarily restrict standard contract deployment and updates before the new rules activate.
- Update Linux and macOS VM libraries and build configurations.
