This is a first release among several allowing more flexibility in how connections to the API are managed.

Other notable changes

• Unified engine set-up for various platforms
• Added Docker experimental API support (Docker API service must be running and expose its socket at expected path)
• Minor documentation improvements

Next versions will be focused on supporting podman remote and WSL custom distributions other than the one created by the podman machine init command.
