We are pleased to announce the release of INCEpTION 0.7.1.

INCEpTION is an extensible web-based collaborative environment
for text annotation. It integrates machine-learning-based annotation
support, knowledge base management and corpus building into
a single comprehensive platform.

This is a bug fix release.

Notable changes since INCEpTION 0.7.0

  • Fixed bug that properties are repeated in the statement editor on the KB page
  • Fixed bug causing an exception to be thrown when exporting in CoNLL-U format
  • Fixed bug causing the String-matching recommender to fail when it has no training data
  • Fixed bug preventing the saving of feature traits
  • Fixed bug causing the generation of suggestions not to be triggered properly when opening a document
  • Fixed bug causing the recommender tasks to clog up the scheduler queue
  • Fixed problems with the documentation
  • Fixed bug causing rejected recommendations not to disappear
  • Added IRI info badge for IRI-valued statement values
  • Restored ability to be run on Java 8

License and System requirements

INCEpTION is provided as open source software under the Apache License version 2.

Running INCEpTION requires Java version 8 or higher.

By default, INCEpTION uses an embedded database which is sufficient for testing. However, the use of a MySQL database is recommended.

INCEpTION works best with Chrome and Safari.
