We are pleased to announce the release of INCEpTION 0.11.1.
INCEpTION is an extensible web-based collaborative environment
for text annotation. It integrates machine-learning-based annotation
support, knowledge base management and corpus building into
a single comprehensive platform.
This is a bugfix release.
Notable changes since INCEpTION 0.11.0
- Fixed CoNLL-U export when sentences contain line breaks
- Fixed ability to work with boolean features
- Fixed problem indexing documents containing characters not supported by XML
- Fixed exception when indexing documents after a project import
- Fixed problem when auto-merging annotations with out-of-tagset values on the curation page
- Improved import speed for projects with long event logs
- Improved performance of curation page
- Improved error message telling that the PDF editor cannot display non-PDF file
- ... and a couple of additional fixes and changes under the hood

License and System requirements
INCEpTION is provided as open source software under the Apache License version 2.
Running INCEpTION requires Java version 8 or higher.
By default, INCEpTION uses an embedded database which is sufficient for testing. However, the use of a MySQL database is recommended.
INCEpTION works best with Chrome and Safari.
