SomnoTrace — Changes since v1.0.0
Wellue O2 Ring oximeter support
SomnoTrace can now pair with a Wellue O2 Ring over Bluetooth and download
recorded oximetry sessions (SpO₂, heart rate, PI) as raw files stored on
the SD card alongside existing therapy data.
- Web UI pairing card — pair, unpair, and view live O2 Ring status
(battery, on/off finger, sync state) from the portal. - Smart sync window detection — the firmware passively watches the
ring's Bluetooth advertisements and only connects when the ring is
off-finger and in its "sync-ready" state. This avoids waking the ring
unnecessarily and lets it power off on its own after data is pulled. - Automatic re-wear handling — if the ring is put back on the finger
and removed again, a new sync is triggered automatically. - Raw file storage — downloaded sessions are saved to the SD card in
the ring's native file format for later processing or upload.
LCD rotation option
The display can now be rotated 90° clockwise via a new dropdown in the
web portal's "Display & Sound" section. Useful when the device is
oriented with the USB-C port at the bottom. The setting is saved
persistently and applied immediately — no reboot required.
IP address on the status screen
The device's current IP address is now shown on the LCD status screen,
directly below the http://somnotrace.local URL line. This makes it
easier to access the web portal when mDNS isn't available on the
network.
AS11 therapy integration improvements
Added hooks for the AS11 CPAP connection to coordinate with the oximeter
subsystem, so both devices can be active during a sleep session without
conflicting Bluetooth activity.
