Download MacSai-1.27.1.dmg below, open it, and drag Mac Sai to your Applications folder. Updating? Quit Mac Sai first and replace the old copy.

Homebrew picks up new releases automatically, usually within a day or two. Until then it still serves the previous version, so if brew doesn't offer 1.27.1 yet, use the DMG above. If you installed from the DMG, keep updating with the DMG: brew install refuses to replace an app it didn't install.

- Grant Full Disk Access in System Settings for complete scan results
Safety
All deletions go to Trash by default. Protected system paths are blocklisted. Every operation is logged.
What's new
- Malware Removal checks Apple's XProtect signatures. Files are matched against the malware signatures macOS already keeps on your Mac, fully offline. Only exact hash matches count. Confirmed matches are pre-selected, and Safari extensions on Apple's blocklist are listed under Possible Threats for you to review, never pre-selected. Smart Scan stays quick: it doesn't hash every installed app (#239)
- Optional MalwareBazaar hash feed. Add your free abuse.ch Auth-Key in Settings > Malware Databases and press Update Now to download hashes of recently reported macOS malware. It's off by default and never downloads in the background. Matching stays on your Mac, and each request sends only your key and the query, never file hashes or paths. Matches are listed for review only and never pre-selected, only the matched file is offered (never a whole app), and hits on validly signed apps are ignored. When a downloaded hash matches a signed file, macOS asks Apple whether its signing certificate was revoked, the same check Gatekeeper makes (#253)
