New companions for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, a game library that shows every dual-screen game, and a way to put the companion away during a game.
New
- Companions: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse (commissioned by gymgooner123). Get them from https://github.com/igawa6/eden-duo-companions.
- Dual-screen games not in your library: the game list ends with every game that has an Eden Duo companion but isn't in your games folders, as greyscale tiles with cover art from GameTDB. You can switch the section off in the library's sort/filter menu.
- Hide the companion during a game: tap the game screen with four fingers, use the new "Companion" Quick Settings tile, or "Hide companion" in the in-game menu, then use the second screen for another app. Do it again to bring the companion back where it was. The gesture can be changed to a 5-finger pinch or a 3-finger swipe down, or turned off (Settings → Graphics → Second Screen).
- Clearer "Import from another emulator": plain names for each kind of data, "Share with the other emulator" or "Separate copy" for each folder (saves default to a separate copy), and a confirmation listing what happens to each folder. After an import with several user profiles, Eden Duo asks which one you play as.
Fixed
- Based on the Eden nightly of 2026-10-19, plus Eden's fix for a slowdown in games such as Link's Awakening and Castlevania. A NAND folder shared with Eden no longer slows games down.
- Importing save data no longer crashes Eden Duo. Saves exported from Eden import correctly, and a zip with another game's saves says so.
- "Import user data" no longer deletes your user folder before it has unpacked the backup.
- A failure while importing, exporting or installing shows an error instead of closing the app.
- The library's companion badges and the "not in your library" section no longer disappear when GitHub briefly answers with an empty release list.
- Importing one game's save names the user profile it goes into.
Update: install over your current Eden Duo. Games, settings and companions are kept.
