- Initialize tabs on first visit and pause inactive Flutter animations while retaining page state.
- Isolate settings-row repaint work, cache profile-size/icon misses, and index/cache size predictions with reference parsing outside the mobile UI isolate.

Fixed
- Clear the OMAPI crash guard only at a verified channel-free idle checkpoint, preventing normal app restarts from hiding built-in readers. Actual failed channel cleanup remains reboot-required.
- Wait for asynchronous OMAPI service connection, refresh discovery when it connects, honor forced reader refresh and show reboot-required discovery errors instead of an empty-reader prompt.
- Keep built-in reader defaults available if an installed OTBridge provider fails discovery.
Upgrade notes
- If 2.4.0 already left OMAPI blocked with a reboot-required safety marker, install this update and restart the device once. Clearing app data is not required.
- Scrolling work has been reduced and regression-tested; physical-device frame timing has not yet been measured.
Downloads
NekokoLPA 2 is built from the public repository. Open is an Android variant name only. Windows, macOS, Linux and web use the NekokoLPA 2 name. The 601 binaries include eSIM.cc and eSIM.gg. The 3HK plugin is now public source too and will be included from the next build; the 601 binaries have not been rebuilt or replaced.
The web app at web.lpa.ee and the Android Open plus Windows/Linux standard update feeds are at 2.4.1+601. Earlier desktop open/store channels remain compatibility aliases to the same desktop downloads. The five historical .open- desktop/web filenames remain valid links to byte-identical files; canonical names above omit the Android variant suffix.
Store submissions
- Standard and 9eSIM Google Play production tracks: version code 601 committed. Store review and public availability remain separate from the successful submission.
- Standard iOS, standard macOS and 9eSIM iOS: 2.4.1 (601) processed and submitted to App Review; all three read back WAITING_FOR_REVIEW on 2026-10-29.
Verification and setup
Public release source: 2aacd81. The public release build passed static analysis and all 727 Flutter tests. All 17 original build artifacts were downloaded and matched their GitHub SHA-256 digests. Five additional canonical desktop/web filenames were verified byte-identical to the original downloads; the release has 22 assets including these compatibility copies. App APK package identities, version/build and signing certificates were verified; all three modules embed the same APK as their corresponding standalone download.
