The CA-72's POLY presets no longer overload computers with 3 or 4 processors.

Close your host, run the installer (it installs over 0.1.4, 0.1.3, 0.1.2, 0.1.1 and 0.1.0), then rescan your host's plug-ins. Projects and presets saved with earlier versions open unchanged. The Windows installer is not yet signed: the first time, Windows says "Windows protected your PC"; click More info, then Run anyway.
SHA256SUMS.txt lists the checksums of the installers, the Windows ZIP and the sources archive. THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt holds the licences of the works built into the plug-ins; CA-72-0.1.5-git-sources.tar.gz holds the sources of the few crates the plug-ins take from git repositories rather than crates.io. The CA-72's own source is this repository at the tag v0.1.5.
In this release
- POLY on computers with 3 or 4 processors. The three presets with POLY on (Slow Horn Swell, Brass Tutti and Warped Pad) played every voice on your host's audio thread on a computer with fewer than 5 processors. In Tracktion Waveform the CPU could reach 100 % and the audio engine had to be reset. On 3 and 4 processors the voices are now shared with a second thread, as they already were on 5 or more. In Waveform on 4 processors, Brass Tutti went from 80–90 % on Waveform's CPU meter to about 60 %. The sound is the same to the bit.
- Linux: the editor's window is opaque. On a desktop that composites, the panel looked washed out, with the desktop or the host's own window showing through it. Every pixel the plug-in draws is now opaque.
