ibisOffice 0.8.5 adds video and audio playback that Microsoft PowerPoint plays, a sort pane and a header and footer pane in spreadsheets, automatic column width for numbers, vertical-text symbol handling in documents, and an archive of the Web build for embedding with SHA-256 files.

Changes

• Presentations (.pptx): video and audio keep their play timing, volume and loop settings in the file so Microsoft PowerPoint plays them; a control bar under a selected clip (seek, play/pause, mute, volume, time); audio and video play on Windows; pictures cropped to a custom shape are clipped to it (#62).
• Spreadsheets (.xlsx): Sort and Header and Footer are panes at the right; the Watch Window no longer blocks the sheet; entering a number widens a column that was not sized by hand (#64); formula entry with name completion, reference colors and wrapping (#52, #65); data validation lists that narrow as you type (#33); Ctrl+: enters the time (#34); F4 repeats the last action (#35); pasting shapes copied from Microsoft Office (#41); Filter on 40,000 rows and spills of a million cells no longer hang (#37, #44, #49).
• Documents (.docx): vertical text uses the font's vertical forms and turns the characters that have none (#54); Fit Text dialog (#53); line spacing of a multiple on a document grid.
• All apps: a "..." menu on recent files (#61); the logo in the menu bar opens the Start window; number fields with up/down arrows; a color picker dialog; drag of scroll bars; bold and italic that DirectWrite simulates are kept in PDF export on Windows (#57).
• Web build for embedding (#76): the release attaches ibisOffice-0.8.5-Web.zip and two SHA-256 files.

• macOS (Apple silicon, macOS 11 or later): ibisOffice-0.8.5-macOS.zip. Unzip and move ibisOffice.app to Applications.
• Windows (64-bit): ibisOffice-0.8.5-Windows.zip. Unzip and run ibisOffice.exe in the ibisOffice folder.
• Linux (64-bit x86_64, Ubuntu 20.04 / Debian 11 or later): ibisOffice-0.8.5-Linux.AppImage. Make it executable (chmod +x) and run it. Flatpak bundles (ibisOffice-0.8.5-Linux-x86_64.flatpak, -aarch64.flatpak) are also attached.
• Browser: try it without installing at https://ibisjp.github.io/ibis-office/ (a browser with WebGPU).
• Web build for embedding: ibisOffice-0.8.5-Web.zip (the same files as the playground's app/) with ibisOffice-0.8.5-Web.zip.sha256 (the archive's SHA-256) and ibisOffice-0.8.5-Web.files.sha256 (the SHA-256 of every file in it). Check with shasum -a 256 -c ibisOffice-0.8.5-Web.zip.sha256, unzip, and run shasum -a 256 -c ibisOffice-0.8.5-Web.files.sha256 in the unzipped folder. See docs/web-embedding.md.
