What's new

• Automatic backup on save, like WinMerge: before writing, the original file is preserved as file.ext.bak in the same folder. On by default; can be disabled in Comparison Options ("Back up the original file when saving"). If the backup cannot be created, the save is aborted for safety.

Install: open the dmg and drag to Applications (replace the previous version).
