A merge view at WinMerge's level
- Line-by-line alignment: the panes now stay aligned with gray filler where one side has fewer lines (WinMerge's "ghost lines") — no more mismatched content while scrolling.
- Smart word-diff: in-line differences are computed over the whole block, as in WinMerge — beige for ranges changed on both sides, salmon for content that exists on one side only.
- WinMerge's color palette: gold for differences, rose-red for the selected difference, gray for filler.
- Diff Pane: resizable bottom panel showing the current difference's content, one block per file (toolbar toggle).
- Per-pane headers and status bars: file path (active pane highlighted), Ln/Col/Ch, encoding and EOL — and each pane's ≡ menu: copy path/name, edit caption (F2), open another file in the pane, reveal in Finder, recent files.
- Toolbar icons in the classic WinMerge style, crisp on retina.
- Synchronized horizontal scrolling; comparisons open with no difference selected, like WinMerge.
