What's new
- Syntax highlighting in file comparison: 47 languages via the WinMerge engine's CrystalEdit parsers; multi-line constructs (block comments, strings) highlighted correctly and updated while editing.
- Tree mode in folder comparison: folders as expandable nodes (Tree View toolbar toggle, persisted), like WinMerge; the flat list mode remains available.
- WinMerge-style opening screen: 3 path slots with history (MRU), per-side Read-only, Swap, file/folder Browse, and drag & drop — including dropping files on the Dock icon.
- Readable dark mode: light content area (like WinMerge's editor) with native dark window chrome.
Fixes
- Folder comparison on macOS/Linux did not descend past 2 levels of subfolders (Win32 path separator in DirScan); deep folders showed as "Identical".
- A freshly opened comparison is no longer marked as modified; undoing all edits clears the • marker.
Install: open the dmg and drag to Applications. Not notarized by Apple yet: on first launch, right-click → Open (or allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security).
