What's changed
This beta fixes the integration failing to load when the Nest x Yale Lock integration is also installed. It also adds two features that haven't been tested on real hardware yet. Everything from 0.6.0b1 is included, including the experimental master token sign-in.
Please test it and report back, especially if you have a Protect with a pathlight or an account with several Nest homes. Include debug logs and diagnostics with any report.
🐛 Bug fixes
- Fix the integration failing to load with
duplicate symbol 'weave.common.DayOfWeek'when the Nest x Yale Lock custom integration is installed (#695, fixes #693). Both integrations bundle the same Nest protobuf definitions. Ours now load into a private registry, so the two can be installed side by side.
🚀 Features
- Add a Pathlight always on switch for each Protect (#687, #69). Turning it on also turns on the pathlight; turning it off returns the pathlight to motion-triggered. Not yet tested on a real Protect: please check that the Nest app shows the same setting, and tell us how the light behaves.
- Choose which Nest homes to add when an account has several (#691, closes #60). New setups get a Choose your homes step, and existing entries can change their selection under Configure. Devices in homes you deselect are removed. When every home is selected, homes added to the account later are picked up automatically. Not yet tested on a real multi-home account; a Nest x Yale lock in a deselected home may still show up.
