Version 7.3 - Keyboard controls, achievements, Exit Game
Alpha - expect bugs. If something goes wrong, send burstlimit.log (next to burstlimit.exe) in an issue.
- Keyboard controls (#24): on by default, with or without a controller. Arrows / WASD move, Enter confirms
(and pauses a fight), Esc goes back; in a fight Space / L guard, J rush, I smash, K ki blast. The game's button
prompts show the keys, every key can be changed in F1 > KEYBOARD, and the keyboard can be player 2. - Achievement popups with trophies: earning one of the game's 50 achievements shows a popup in the game's menu
style with its picture, name and gamerscore as a bronze, silver or gold trophy, with that tier's sound, and a
platinum popup when all 50 are unlocked. Trophy sounds by Spade. F7 opens the achievements window
(progress, trophies, every achievement with its unlock date; works with the controller), and F1 > GAME has
the sound options. - Exit Game (#21): in the main menu (under Mods) and in F1 > GAME.
- Drama sequences on / off (#21): F1 > GAME > Drama sequences. Off = no Drama Piece cut-scenes interrupting
a fight. Online, the host's setting is used by both players. - Sharper DLSS / FSR: DLSS/FSR Quality modes on the native renderer are much sharper (frame-pacing fix) and use
NVIDIA's recommended mip bias. - Linux / Wine (#25): the window no longer waits forever for the display or the start screen's lobby / update
checks. If it still stops answering, burstlimit.lognow says where. - Online: both players need 7.3 (rooms are version-locked).
