• Works with i18next 27 and react-i18next 18 - the peer ranges already allowed them; the test suite, the type checks and all seven examples now run on i18next 27 and react-i18next 18, and the examples depend on them. next-i18next itself does not change: it always sets fallbackLng, so i18next 27's new default (false instead of 'dev') does not apply, and the Pages Router works with i18next 27 as before. One i18next 27 change shows in apps: an empty translation falls back like a missing one; set returnEmptyString: true in your i18next options to keep empty strings.
