Social Archiver CLI v0.2.1

on GitHub

The 0.2.0 update reaches the Microsoft Store

• Research this post, on Windows too. social-archiver executor from the Microsoft Store now takes the "Research this post" jobs the mobile app hands to a computer, and writes the report — background, claim checks and sources — with an AI CLI installed on this machine, such as Claude Code or Codex.
• Needs a web-capable AI CLI. Research runs on an AI CLI that can search the web.
• Nothing changes on macOS or Linux. These builds have the same features as 0.2.0; this version exists so the Microsoft Store build gets them too.

Signed and notarized macOS arm64/Intel builds plus a verified Ubuntu 22.04+ Linux x64 build. The checksum-verifying native installer and keyless Sigstore provenance bundle are included.

Install / update

brew upgrade social-archiver-cli

npm install -g social-archiver@0.2.1

curl -fsSL https://github.com/hyungyunlim/obsidian-social-archiver-releases/releases/download/cli-v0.2.1/install.sh | sh

Windows users can update from the Microsoft Store.
