Archive straight into collections
archive --collection <id|name>puts the archived post into one or more collections (comma-separated, up to 50). The server adds it as soon as the archive exists, so there's no second command to run.- Checked before anything is sent. Collections are matched like the
collectionscommand (id, else exact name; yours wins a clash). A name that matches nothing, or a collection where you're only a viewer, stops withINVALID_ARGUMENTand archives nothing. - Another choice is another request. Sending the same URL with different collections no longer replays the earlier answer.
Note
The same option is in the Obsidian plugin's CLI (social-archiver:archive collection=, plugin 4.9.0), the mobile app 2.4.1, the desktop app 0.8.2 and the browser extension 1.11.0. The server side is already live.
Signed and notarized macOS arm64/Intel builds plus a verified Ubuntu 22.04+ Linux x64 build. The checksum-verifying native installer and keyless Sigstore provenance bundle are included.
