Videos archived from the plugin download again
- Since mid-June, archiving a post with a video from the plugin ended in "Video download failed" even though the server had kept a copy — the media proxy answered in a form the plugin rejected. Fixed on both sides. For notes that already carry the failure, archive the same URL again: the plugin now pulls the stored copy.
Old notes stop resurfacing as "edited"
- Notes whose media exists only on the original device were rewritten on every sync pass (and showed
media_expired). They are now left alone. - The "Media updated — review needed" callout no longer lands on every note archived from the plugin. It appears only when the note actually has a missing local media reference to review.
- A server-side author avatar refresh no longer marks every archive by that author as updated, so the vault stops re-walking thousands of notes after a subscription run.
Fewer duplicate notes, safer clean-up
- Sync now waits for Obsidian's file index before matching server archives to existing notes, closing a source of duplicate notes on a cold start.
- Deleting one copy of a duplicate pair is now just local clean-up: it no longer deletes the archive on the server or blocks the surviving note from future updates.
