Browse by place
- The timeline toolbar has a map-pin button. It gathers every archive that has a place attached, grouped one row per place with a count, and picking a place filters the timeline to it.
- Filter by place type or map provider, and search by name or address.
- Switch the panel to a map with the Map button beside the search box. Markers show where your places are; names appear as you zoom in, and clicking one filters the timeline just like a row does.
- Places attached to ordinary posts are findable at last. Most saved places do not sit on a map archive — they are attached to a Threads or Facebook post — and until now nothing could list them. Filtering by the Google/Naver/Kakao platform chips only ever reached the handful that were map archives themselves.
First launch after this update
- The archive index rebuilds so places become filterable, and your library syncs once in full so places confirmed on another device while Obsidian was closed reach this vault.
Fixes
- A place's type no longer goes stale. Changing the place on an archive kept the previous type, so the icon described somewhere the note no longer pointed at.
- Instagram Saved imports stop when your quota runs out instead of continuing, report a truthful final status, and say which media could not be fetched and why.
