Clip posts straight into your vault from the Social Archiver Chrome extension — no account needed.
- Local-only by design — clips never touch the server and never use your monthly archive quota.
- Import anytime — once signed in, move local clips into your account (media included) from Settings → Local archives, or right-click a clip note → "Upload archive to account". Paid plans can auto-upload new clips.
- Works fully logged out — timeline, tags, and settings no longer require an account.
- Chrome extension 1.6.1+ unlocks the full clip platform set: X, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok, Bluesky, Mastodon, LinkedIn, Substack notes, Naver Blog/Cafe, Kakao Brunch, and ordinary web pages.
