Substack Notes
Full Substack Notes support, plus fixes for how shared/quoted posts are archived.
- Notes archived directly — full text with author name, avatar, and bio; likes/restacks/replies counts.
- Threaded comments — a note's reply thread is captured and rendered with nesting, and comment authors now link to their profile.
- Images download into your vault and show as a carousel (matching mobile), instead of a stacked article layout.
- Videos are preserved as MP4 so they play, instead of showing an unplayable streaming link.
- Quoted highlights — when a note restacks a post with a highlighted passage, the quote renders as a blockquote linking to the source post.
- Shared posts opened in the Notes UI (
/note/p-…) and app post links (/@handle/p-…) are now archived as full articles instead of failing. - Substack notes vs articles/blogs are distinguished so each renders appropriately.
