Major changes

Instagram Saved Posts import

  • You first need to archive your instagram saved posts through Chrome extension 1.3.0 which are going through review process for now. There are two options for importing, either download zip file and import through Obsidian, or directly upload through API. The Obsidian option has more grangular control over importing process although direct upload flow is simple and easier. Recommended to import a collection with smaller size.
  • Added the first full Obsidian import flow for Instagram Saved Posts exports.
  • Added import preflight with destination selection, job-wide tags, progress, completion, and failure views.
  • Added vault attachment materialization so imported media, thumbnails, and author avatars are written into the vault and referenced with local paths.

Review before importing

  • Added a review gallery so you can choose which saved posts to import instead of importing everything blindly.
  • Added collection filtering, search across caption/author/shortcode/collection, per-post selection, per-author bulk selection, and bulk actions.
  • Added a media preview cache and card layout that mirrors the final timeline rendering more closely.

Minor changes and fixes

  • Fixed synced Obsidian highlights where selections with edge whitespace rendered as literal ==highlight== text.
  • Fixed reader-mode heading sizing so h5/h6 no longer render smaller than body text.
  • Fixed mobile/library/realtime sync media handling so Download media: Images only no longer downloads video files into the vault.
  • Added structured logging around share/archive orphan-candidate paths to make production drift easier to diagnose.
  • Synced platform definitions and icons with the latest shared platform metadata.
