3.2.1 — Sync Stability & Data Protection
This release improves the reliability of multi-device sync and adds safeguards to protect your archived data.
Improvements
- Improved sync safety — Enhanced how archive deletions are synchronized across devices to prevent unintended data loss
- Better conflict handling — Vault file management (moving, reorganizing notes) no longer risks affecting your server-side archives
- Confirmation prompt — A confirmation dialog now appears before syncing local file deletions to the server
- Smarter sync defaults — Outbound delete sync is now opt-in (Settings → Sync) for safer out-of-the-box experience
- Clear Queue button — You can now clear pending server deletes directly from Settings → Sync
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where reconnecting to the sync server could process a large backlog of pending operations at once
- Fixed an edge case where deleting a vault file could affect multiple server archives with the same URL
- Fixed YAML parse error when author bio contains multi-line text
- Improved echo suppression for archive deletion events across connected devices
- Disabling outbound delete sync now automatically clears the pending queue
Notes
If you previously had outbound delete sync enabled, your existing setting is preserved. New installations default to disabled. You can manage this in Settings → Sync → Delete Sync.
