What's Changed

Lots of accessibility improvements this release, because TTRPGs should be for everyone. The rest is a long list of things that used to fail quietly or never finish. Pages that can't load now say so and offer Try again instead of spinning forever. One slow or broken file can no longer freeze a scan or send the startup scan round in circles. Turning off a scheduled rescan or backup actually turns it off. And Who can see this finally shows the setting you saved, so a restriction can be lifted again.

New Features

• Upload a custom cover for any book, and remove it to go back to the original
• Screen reader and keyboard support across the whole app: the reader, library, galleries, audio, campaigns, characters and settings

Enhancements

• Clearly visible outlines on text boxes, dropdowns, checkboxes and switches in every built-in theme, plus a border-control colour for custom themes
• Book, link and reader menus work with the arrow keys and Esc
• The battlemap video on a map page stays still when your device asks for reduced motion
• A quieter server log, without the deprecation warnings it printed at startup and from every scan

Bug Fixes

• Pages that fail to load say so and offer Try again instead of spinning forever
• Actions that failed silently now say what went wrong
• Who can see this shows the saved setting, so a GM-only restriction can be lifted again
• A slow PDF, EPUB or DjVu no longer freezes Grimoire during a scan
• A file that keeps crashing the scan is skipped and named in the log
• A startup scan that keeps failing no longer restarts on every launch
• Long exports and metadata lookups no longer slow down everyone else
• Turning off a scheduled rescan or backup really stops it
• Moving several files at once carries on when one of them fails
• Play folder plays every track, however big the subfolder
• PDF maps zoom with the wheel and pinch again
• A character sheet no longer warns about a field it is hiding
• Clicking an open entry in a sheet's content browser closes it
• Flicking quickly between maps, tokens, tracks or models shows the one you landed on
• Two workers on Docker Desktop for macOS or Windows start up cleanly
