HOME on Fire TVs running Android 14 (the 2025 Hisense-built AFTCU9343B, for one) now lands on dumbtv home instead of Amazon's. Android 14 only lets dumbtv home take over once its cover window is on screen, and it counts that window a moment later than older Android did, so the takeover was refused. It now waits that moment out. Thanks to jt-at-home, whose trace found it (#57).
Fire OS 6, 7 and 8 behave exactly as in 1.5.

Moving around the home screen. Left and Right stop at the end of a row instead of jumping to another one, and Up and Down go back to the tile you left in the other row, not the nearest one. Thanks to Majunko (#67).
Same release, outside the launcher
dnsfilter.shsets the filter up by itself on Fire OS 8 TVs whose backup service is off, where it used to stop at a manual step in personalDNSfilter's screen (#89).verify.shreports the launcher release on the TV, and warns when an Amazon update turned a package or a privacy setting back on.- New device reports: Amazon AFTALMO, a third AFTKRT, a third Philips TPM191E set, a Fire TV smart TV (AFTHY7ABBA) and an Insignia F50.
Install or update: ./scripts/launcher.sh (checksum-verified). No permissions on Fire OS 7 and 8, no internet access.
