Installation

Homebrew (Recommended)

brew tap humanlayer/humanlayer
brew install --cask codelayer-experimental

Manual Installation

1. Download the DMG file below
2. Open the DMG and drag CodeLayer-Experimental to Applications
3. Launch CodeLayer-Experimental from Applications

Side-by-Side Installation

This experimental build can be installed alongside stable and nightly versions:

• Uses port 7779 (stable: 7777, nightly: 7778)
• CLI commands: humanlayer-experimental, hld-experimental
• Separate database and configuration files

Troubleshooting

If you encounter "damaged app" warnings:

xattr -rc /Applications/CodeLayer-Experimental.app

Logs

Logs can be found at:

~/Library/Logs/dev.humanlayer.wui.experimental/CodeLayer-Experimental.log
