- Change the update channel from the Upgrades page. Select devices and press Change channel… to move them to stable, long-term, testing or development. The dialog lists every device with its current and new channel, and nothing changes until you confirm. Devices that cannot be changed, such as offline or SNMP-only ones, are shown with the reason. Previous channel returns each device to the channel it was on before, so a batch moved to testing for a fix goes back just as easily. Each device checks for updates on its new channel straight away, and every change is recorded in the activity log. Suggested on GitHub (#55).
Fixed
- Upgrades no longer roll a device back. A device already running a newer RouterOS than its channel offers, for example after being moved from stable to long-term, is now skipped with "No newer version" instead of being given the older build. This applies to the upgrade buttons, the device page, the queue and scheduled upgrades, including pinned ones.
- Full Upgrade now upgrades the firmware when RouterOS is already current.
- The MCP endpoint no longer reports a device as behind when it already runs a newer RouterOS or firmware than it was offered. AI assistants connected to mikr now see the same verdict as the Upgrades page.
