- VLANs are now visible on the port map. RouterOS configures VLANs in two different places depending on the model — on a bridge, or on the switch chip — and the device page showed neither. Both are now read and presented the same way, so a port looks the same whether it is on a CRS320 or a CRS112. Each port shows whether it is an access port or a trunk, which VLANs it carries, and which VLAN terminates on it.
- A VLAN picker above the port map. Choose a VLAN and every port that carries it lights up: filled where the VLAN leaves untagged, outlined where it leaves tagged. Meant for the everyday question of where a given VLAN actually goes.
- Ports with no VLAN configuration are labelled as passing everything, not left blank. A port without VLAN settings is not outside the scheme — it is the most open port on the device, and it is now described that way.
- Hardware offload is reported honestly. On some models, switching VLAN filtering on to the bridge silently costs the hardware offload and the switching moves to the CPU. Where that is the case, the port map says so in one line, instead of leaving it to be discovered when the device slows down under load.
This release only reads. Editing VLANs from the panel is a later step.
