- Monitor over SNMP instead of SSH (optional). You can now have mikr poll routine device status and traffic over SNMP, opening SSH/REST only when you actually need it — running a command, an upgrade, a backup, or opening a detail tab. This keeps long-lived SSH sessions off your routers, which some devices don't handle well after long uptime. Turn it on globally in Settings → Monitoring, or set it per device (Default / SNMP / SSH) from the device form — handy when only some routers allow SNMP. Off by default and never forced: a device needs an SNMP community to use it, and any device without one keeps polling over SSH as before. SNMP-polled devices still get full status (CPU, memory, temperature, voltage), interfaces, neighbours, PoE and live traffic graphs. Thanks to Rysiek (SQ9MDD) for the suggestion.
